Beautiful arrival tribute to our President. 🇺🇸 Thank you to the Presidential Palace of Turkey for the warm welcome and respect shown to the United States. Moments like this remind us that diplomacy still matters. Regardless of political differences at home, honoring the President of the United States on the world stage reflects the significance of our nation and the importance of maintaining strong relationships with our allies and partners. This truly pushes back against the claim that the rest of the world is laughing at the USA. God bless America. 🇺🇸

Europe is no longer particularly interested in Trumps opinions: Receive him with polite diplomacy, let him say his piece, pat him on the head, maybe give him a cookie, then send him on his way so that the adults can continue their conversation. Every foreign visit, every country, every time. The man's an international joke. His fantasy based "lectures at" other national leaders repeatedly result in broad international laughter from political adults. From respected World Leader to globally ridiculed pariah in the space of just sixteen months. All former allies alienated. All former allies having been repeatedly insulted and/or threatened economically and/or politically and militarily over the course of the last sixteen months. All former allies now view the US as unreliable, chaotic and capricious. All former US allies are now actively reinforcing existing alternative political economic and military alliances and partnerships and actively forming new alternative political, economic and military partnerships minus the USA. The entire world is sick of the constant stream of crap coming from the Leader of today's USA who behaves like an attention seeking three year old and is globally viewed as such. What the USA's traditional opponents failed to achieve in eighty years the current Leader of the USA has achieved in under two years. Yes. Stand With Trump, choose self-inflicted national isolation, choose national insularisation if you wish, but choose also to remain a global laughing-stock. The only thing that the world takes seriously about Trump is the threat and we've encountered many similar threats by similar characters over the last three centuries. Their legacy, their place in history, is not complimentary. Trumps appearance in Ankara has barely made the papers in the UK. We now largely choose to ignore the idiot.
