Republicans Portray Reinstated South Carolina Pilots as Victims While Flaunting Patriot Identity
Strategic victimhood & blame inversion

These pilots were doing what Americans love honoring the country on Independence Day with a little thunder and freedom in the sky. Glad common sense won out. Carry on, Patriots. Fly high and keep making memories for the folks on the ground. o7

We were on the beach at Fripp Island SC with 100’s of other beach goers to watch the fly over. It was the most patriotic display with everyone holding our American flag and waving as they flew over. My husband was an Apache instructor pilot at Ft Rucker 20 years ago and our Son in law is an Apache pilot also who is deployed now. We should all be so proud of these military men and thank them every day for their service to our great country. So much patriotism on display that day that filled my heart with hope for our country 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Back in the day, they would fly map of the earth over our land. My 5 boys would run out there and wave, every time. In return they would dip their wings. 15 years later all my boys joined, Navy, Coast Guard, Army, Air Force. As a Military Widow watching these boys, now men stand next to their Father's flagged draped casket in full uniform at attention while the folding of the flag and presentation to myself, I can't help but thank those pilots whom made such an influence on my boys, to be the men they are today. Thank you!
