The ICC has virtually no meaningful accountability. Just look at what happened to the former President of the Philippines. Working alongside the current Philippine administration, the ICC took former President Duterte to The Hague without any judicial process taking place in the Philippines, raising serious concerns about due process, individual rights, and Philippine sovereignty. If an international court can do this to the former president of a sovereign nation, what could it mean for soldiers, marines, police officers, and other AMERICANS public servants in the future? Institutions with significant power should also be subject to transparency and accountability. Rubio all the way. 💕

The ICC is an independent international institution established by the Rome Statute, a treaty ratified by 125 sovereign nations. 👉🏾Because the United States is not a party to this treaty, it does not have the legal authority to dissolve the court. Good luck finding back up for that one , almost the same as asking allies for help after starting an illegal war in Iran😂 getting hot under their feet is it?
