But, by suggesting so, he has prompted us to have another more important discussion openly & more loudly. And that namely is: How long is the US going to let its foreign policy in the Middle East be shaped by Israeli Government priorities as opposed to American? By now, it’s no secret that Israel’s (or to be specific, Netanyahu’s) unilateral actions in the region are the reason why many of Trump’s attempts at reaching a deal with the Iranians have ended in failure. It’s time to hold Israel’s PM accountable, if he wants the US’s continued patronage & that’s what NYC’s Mayor is trying to do.
