It was a very beautiful and touching service. President Trump gave a very heartfelt tribute to Lindsey. His niece gave a beautiful tribute from the family to show what a wonderful family man Lindsey was. His hometown Pastor gave an excellent tribute and sermon to point all in attendance to know the Lord and Savior that Lindsey is now seeing face to face. Very thankful for Senator Grahams service to our country and to our great state of South Carolina!

Senator Graham saw that Trump was a bad person, explained why he should not be president, then bent the knee and supported him. He knew he was doing wrong, and did it anyway. Very similar to my Senator, which is you.

President Trump, you honored Him well. Respect, Regard to a Great American Statesman. His absence in the Senate is already profound, His voice may be silent, but His passion for America inspires.

Watching leaders like Steve Daines praise the legacy of figures like Lindsey Graham is a stark reminder of how far today’s political establishment has drifted. Both chose unwavering loyalty to Donald Trump over the principles of our founding document. True conservatism is about the Constitution and the rule of law—and history will remember who traded that away for political survival.

Washington says goodbye to Sen. Lindsey Graham, a 'true American original'. A special ceremony at the Capitol and a funeral service at the National Cathedral were held Tuesday. A second service is planned for Wednesday in Graham's native South Carolina

Rarely reads from a script. He gave that eulogy of Senator Graham, extemporaneously. Not many people, no less politicians can do that or will even take the chance of misspeaking or forgetting what they want to say. Very bright guy, although I prefer Rubio for 2028, older, more experienced, calmer temperament.

What legacy do you believe Sen. Lindsey Graham leaves behind, and how should history remember his public service?

Facebook Facebook user 3mo ago 45%

Remember Lindsey’s public words During a 2015 video interview with HuffPost, Graham grew visibly emotional when discussing his long-standing friendship with Joe Biden. [1, 2, 3] Graham stated: [1, 2, 3, 4] "He’s the nicest person I think I’ve ever met in politics. He is as good a man as God ever created." [1] Graham also famously added in the same clip: [1, 2] "If you can't admire Joe Biden as a person, then you got a problem. You need to do some self-evaluation. 'Cause what's not to like?" And also his public words on trump 2016, Senator Lindsey Graham famously stated, "If we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed.......and we will deserve it". This was a reference to his belief that Donald Trump's presidential candidacy would be damaging to the Republican Party. n the day after the riot (January 7, 2021), Graham stated that Trump must accept his role in the violence, calling it a "self-inflicted wound". In February 2021, Graham argued that Trump bore responsibility for "pushing narratives about the election" that were untrue,

Let’s not rewrite history—Lindsey Graham’s legacy was defined by reckless, dangerous policies that harmed people both at home and abroad. For decades, he was one of the most aggressive hawks in Washington, constantly beating the drums of war and pushing for military interventions that destabilized entire regions of the world. At home, his policy agenda was just as destructive. He consistently championed slashing vital social safety nets, trying to dismantle healthcare access for vulnerable families, and fighting against basic civil rights protections. From escalating global conflicts to stripping resources away from regular people, his career was a masterclass in prioritizing personal political power over human well-being.
