The bystander was a hero, but I can’t imagine the weight of having to fatally shoot a 16-year-old to protect children. That’s got to be a hard thing to do, but he made the right decision. He’s in my prayers along with the children and their families and the staff at the school.
Why should it matter if he had a concealed weapon permit or not. He saved many young lives today. Im sorry he was unable to save the 5, 8, 11 year olds and the teacher. Also the two that went to the hospital in critical condition. I would rather be standing next to an armed person that not be when in a situation like this.
