Government talking point

Right-wing officials tout a headline number of 400 ‘suspected’ noncitizen voters in Washington to argue for stricter ID rules, even though audits consistently find such cases to be minuscule errors, not fraud. The scare statistic primes the public for mass voter-roll purges that disproportionately hit naturalized citizens and communities of color.

How are they determining that somebody is voting illegally. Don't all they have is the person's name and address? I guess they could be matching the names against the government's list of known illegals.

Anybody who have the right to vote must present an ID. In order to cast the vote, anybody who is rightfull voter, their name is the book for casting a vote; if anybody without that right is not allowed to do that. That's a big lie.

400 on the rolls? And how many actually voted and how many races have ever been decided by less than 400 votes at the state and Federal level.
