Iran’s regime is brutal and I agree it must never obtain a nuclear weapon. But “decisive action” without clear facts, clear legal authority, and clear objectives is not leadership, it is escalation. Before Idahoans are asked to accept a wider conflict, we deserve answers. What exactly happened, what was struck, what intelligence justified it, what is the plan to prevent retaliation against U.S. troops and allies, and what is the off ramp that avoids another endless war in the Middle East. Congress has a constitutional role here. Will you support real oversight and a public accounting, not vague assurances after the fact. I also want to be clear that opposing Iran’s dictatorship does not mean cheering for actions that put our service members in greater danger. I’m grateful for our troops, but prayers are not a strategy. We need measurable goals, diplomacy where possible, and accountability always.
