And yet there’s very little daylight between the ideologies of those my dad fought against in Europe and the present-day GOP. Irony lives.
My uncle and father served in World War 2. My uncle was at D-Day, the Battle of the Bulge and liberated a concentration camp. They would be appalled by the Republican Party' s embrace of fascism, racism, bigotry. History will not be kind to you.
