Hard to believe the GOP supports law-enforcement after pardoning all the J Sixers, who attacked our police. Trump is also gutting the DOJ and the FBI because of his stupid policies. Bottom line Trump is defunding law-enforcement.

Police are not a catch-all; reallocating resources and creating social and mental health services partner agencies would reduce cops workload, and keep them and the public safer. But instead: you just keep increasing funding for an ever more militarized police force - THAT is why they need to be defunded - we do not want a military force policing citizens - return their workload to what it should be and set funding for that - use the rest of those funds for agencies that are appropriate for the things cops should never have been asked to do in the first place.
Cool. As a liberal, I don't have any issue backing the police. I simply have the crazy belief that supporting law enforcement also includes accountability - a higher standard of accountability seeing as they're literally representatives of the law and are authorized to use deadly force.

We saw MAGAs attacking our Capital Police because of tRump and republicans did not hold them responsible. That is not supporting law enforcement.
Pretty sure crime went down in several locations from 21-25. You wouldn't be lieing, would you? That is a Hallmark of Republicans. I like ejected officials that tell the truth and show up for work. That certainly isn't you.

Can we also start holding bad police accountable for abusing their position to harass and intimidate citizens? Trust and professionalism return when there is real accountability and transparency. Officers who break laws, ignore due process, or misuse their authority should be held responsible for their conduct like anyone else.
